Reviews of this Highland Lochs, Glens & Whiskey Tour

Scotland is so beautiful. Our guide was very nice and told us everything we wanted to know about both past and present. The trip to the whisky distillery was very interesting. And the guide here was also very good. All in all, we had a great day and will remember it for a long time. We took the Highland Lochs, Glens & Whiskey one-day tour from Edinburgh and Helen McNab was our guide. She was wonderful, friendly, personable, passionate about Scotland and its history, and was a great storyteller. She told us the story of Mary Queen of Scots, William Wallace and Robert the Bruce and it was spellbinding, it made the day go so quickly. You could tell she loved what she was doing and she made the tour magical (as long as you're not a McNib-inside joke you won't get unless you take her tour). The tour itself is lovely, and you're off the bus at several stops, but I wish you had more time to really explore the woodland places, like the Hermitage. I know that lots of customers prefer less walking, but it would be nice if Rabbie's would design some tours that operated out of Inverness, so less driving is required and more time could be available for unstructured exploring (2 hours or so) of woodland areas. Their concept is great, with groups fitted to 16 person buses. Our first tour was the Highlands, Glens and Whisky tour. The tour hit all the places advertised and the secenery spectacular. We made stops to get out and stretch frequently, BUT..... our guide was a bit manic and never stopped talking the entire time. Balancing out the commentary with some more Scottish music would have been perfect.
