Reviews of Rabbie's Scottish Highlands Tours
He was wonderful and was full of great stories and gave the history and facts along the way--we learned a lot & enjoyed the entertainment along the way. Our small group was quiet and attentive and happy to be there despite the fact that we were of all ages and from many countries. We stopped for a short hike toward the end of the trip and it was enchanting with a rocky trail and a waterfall--lovely. The trip was one of the highlights of our vacation. We highly recommend Rabbie's.
We took the Loch Ness, Glencoe, and Highlands tour in May. Our guide was great, very knowledgeable and courteous. Our tour started around 0815 that morning. It's a long drive out to Loch Ness, so be aware, you will be on the bus for a long time. The great thing about Rabbies is that you will be on a small bus with a maximum of 16 people, so it is much easier to stop for quick breaks. Our guide made approximately 8-10 stops (in addition to the stop in Loch Ness) for picture breaks and places to stretch your legs. Longer breaks included a stop to see the Scottish Highland cow (his name's Hamish) and a stop in Pitlochry on the way back. We really enjoyed the stop at Glencoe, seeing Hamish, and taking the 1-hour long boat ride on Loch Ness! This was a great trip with a great tour company!
