About Black Mount

Black Mount represents the mountainous part of Rannoch Moor, the large expanse of boggy moorland stretching from Lochaber, Highland to Perth and Kinross to the east. It is a desolate but beautiful place and very difficult to explore. The best views are from the side of the A82 road leading into Glencoe where there's an improvised stopping point.
