About Applecross

The Applecross peninsula located in the Wester Ross region of the Highlands of Scotland is an isolated place but one that's extremely beautiful and intriguing. The only single-track road which goes around the peninsula allows amazing views towards the Isle of Skye and its impressive Cuillin mountains (to the west) and towards the Torridon mountains (to the north). The village of Applecross is accessible via the exciting Pass of the Cattle which starts not far from Kishorn or going round the peninsula via Shieldaig.
